The Cretan Labyrinth two Table Lamp
Labyrinths are found throughout global history, dating back to 10,000 BCE. Of these, the labyrinth from ancient Crete is most famous, a unicursal, meandering symbol, turning from outside to the centre but never crossing itself. As per myth, it housed the Minotaur monster and was created by the inventor Daedalus (who also made the first wings for humans) on orders of King Minos. We create labyrinths to discover and overcome our own complexities.
