The Thangka Conchshell Table Lamp

In Eastern traditions, The conch shell and the sound produced by blowing on it is considered to be auspicious. In Mahayana Buddhism in Tibet, a conch shell is one of the 8 most revered objects. Some large shells can even be played as musical instruments producing different lovely deep sounds based on how we blow into them. These symbolize Buddha’s perfect speech and this lamp seeks to embody this idea of deep connection and spiritual awakening within itself.
