Folded earth ceramic collection
Géori is born from a singular vision to mould and shape stoneware ceramics into folds and articulated terrain. Originating in paper and cardboard folded models, the collection is the brainchild of architect and artist Ankon Mitra, a pioneer of geometric Origami techniques. Each and every form in the collection is inspired by a celebration of architecture, of pleats and facets in architectural elements. Nothing quite like it has been created for Indian dinner tables before, and the collection is super exclusive and limited edition. It has been five years in the making - from vision to realization, and is as much a triumph of artistic vision as of craftsmanship in making by hand. Orikaru is delighted to present Géori to the world.
